Tell me why i got an increment and am still so unhappy?

Are parents suppose to always be supportive of their children?

Should they KEEP comparing others with theirs?

Should parents not ask but receive quietly?

Does not giving the same as other children make you an unfilial child?

Oh well, the above seems to be what is happening now.

Imagine, having to give almost entire of your pay to your parents when you have other bills and stuff to pay? I for one thought that a parent must be giving and not expect things from their children. If their children wants to give a certain amt, accept it. They will increase their pay to you in the months to come. It doesnt mean that since the beginning you get $300 you will get it forever. Come on, i am not earning big bucks, i dun have a fucking director post nor some slogging accountant job.

Give me a break, i just started less than a year, and my pay aint exactly that great.

Time is all i need. But since you have to be so unreasonable in your thinking, i have no choice but to suit your lifestyle. But from today onwards since you dun even think for me, lets put it this way. I will not let you in on anything, why should i? By dng so, i will put myself in more danger.

Nothing to shop cause everything was woolly and long sleeved! But i loved the weather..reminded me of the US but 2 times colder...temp was a cool 10 degrees....so i took the liberty to buy new boots!!! HAha...

Love the food...spend all my moolah on food, seriously nth to shop.

Guess i went during the wrong season...it was winter. DUH!

Woohoo...finally the press conference is over! Found out only on Tuesday that i was to be the emcee for the Press Conference on Thursday. i was like, OMG!!! i haven even got down to writing the script man, you kidding me? Ok snapping back to reality, of course i had to do it...the week passed fast, real fast, i couldnt even remember the last time i saw bright skies. Went to work early to get stuff done, and leave ard 10 plus till the press conference was over.. so damn tired.

Thats why this weekend was stay home weekend to catch up on sleep...oh man it was good..next sat, AGM...oh gosh, guess its gonna be a busy week ahead.. the boyfriend was so sweet to stay for a 3D2N chalet in jurng west, aka my house. haha. guess he was lack of sleep too...so we just slept and slept and slept, and the only thing we did when we woke up was to eat and watch seriously alot of dramas...haha catching up on wad we have been missing.

Cooked tomyum soup and some chix with rice for dinner yesterday, so heres it.

So many things happened over the last few weeks... but i will try to post pics..hehe...this weekend, steamboat and mahjong at my house..woohoo..lookin forward to that, thankie bread for organising this small lil party! LOL..

Oh, and yes, some updates on me, me and me:

1. Missy Adel wears glasses on days when she is lazy to put make up, ok that has been the whole of last week.

2. Chanel's Powder wrks wonders, its really MAtt man, non oily after a days wearing.

work work work. Just found out that we will be shifting to Tai Seng.. thats like way too far for me. Seriously. Need to find a way out. Love the company, love the job but hate the location. The passion however is not that strong to make my decision firm, somehow i am wavering and shaky in my decision on stayin on. What should i do?

Thursday's Deepavali..a hugh sigh of relief that the week is almost over, but i didnt realise that until today that its already tuesday. So many things to do, so lil time.

Btw, Adel has become a vegetarian for lunch. As she has been eating vegetarian for lunch the past 2 weeks. Does that help in weight loss? Maybe, i need to get the new SHAPE mag to help me out on that. Have been eating light dinners w/o rice for fear of putting on weight which i have already done so the pass 3 mths. This is bad, minimal movement in office, just slapping my bum on the chair for the whole 6 hrs with occassional toilet breaks. This is gng no where, so i shall stop harping on it here until i do smth useful bout it.

As to how adel's gng run the 10km run in less than a month, she is absolutely clueless!

Went for a family picnic with russie at East Coast Park yesterday...gosh do i have to remind you again, wad a sweetie he is?

He sat quietly on the mat with us, as we were eating and talking he ate quietly and listened like a real human... he wasnt his usual mad jumpy self, but rather quiet and observing. Then brought him to the waves and he ran away from the water...haha wad a joker.. tried to throw him into the sea but he struggled like a newborn baby.

CNA did it again! But a lil better, this time they didnt show the Ernest & Young Trophy, but instead the caption below the judge was "EOY" and not "EYA" and "EOY" title belongs to Ernest & Young! They should just shoot themselves in the head, it only goes to show their incompetency level and also tarnishes their reputation that they cant even report a news proper. What a shame!

Woohoo!!!! EYA Gala Dinner is finally over!!! Now i am left with the compilation of the AGM and the SPBA 2007 and then BANGKOK!!!!

And 3 freakin good days till my baby comes back!!!

Alright about the event, The Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2007, which most media couldnt get the caps right. Eg, Business Times, CNA, Lianhe Zaobao and Straits Times. Ok that sounds like all..ok then it is.

The Award Presentation was held at Shangri-La, ok the banquet service sucked! They are slow and incompetent and almost spilled food at the VIP table. Minister Teo Chee Hean spoke for a good 25 mins with his speech coming up to 20 pages! Goodness, my legs were aching from all the standing. All because he was talking about a new proposed education scheme. Gosh...Thanks to boss had supper at The Line and half day on friday..woohoo! CHeers to him.

Ok, sorry for the unwanted lichens and moulds forming on this particular site called mine. Here i am cleaning it with my dusty busy life.. So here it goes.

The boyfriend has left for Thailand since friday, and lucky for me, i have been busy till then.

Friday was any other normal day after work, with 2 events coming up..loads of things to Write to Type to Vet to Read. Oh and good news, the Company's magazine is out. Go check it out, called the Entrepreneurs' Digest.

Saturday was russell's day out, spent the day with him then proceeded to aunts house for dinner.

Sunday was My day out, went out with the bread to do some major damage to my wallet and then off to Chevrons for ktv..

Monday was dinner with supposedly the jackies but due to unforeseen circumstances, it was only dear and wen jun. Cheers to you Wen Jun, you are getting more handsome...LOL..

woohoo...its almost friday. Boy this week passed super fast!

Anyway had Boon Tong Kee chix rice on sunday at the Balestier outlet...damn yummy can, the white chix, can fight with food republic.. Its cool it was in a restaurant layout, and i actually thought it would be in a hawker. The drunken prawns were also to die for...yumyum...go try it peeps...

On a porridge diet...have been eating that for lunch and it only costs like $2.50 and yeah..i am like killing 2 birds with 1 stone..save $$ and lose weight..haha..

oooh..the boss gave each of us a box of mooncake from Tung Lok...too bad its dbl yolk, so i passed it to mom!...hate eggs in my mooncake.

ate prata with the boyfriend yesterday...damn nice you shld try it, its called the prata place at seletar, springleaf...the curry is super shiok!

why am i not tanned?? That was the sentence that kept gng thru my head.. and yes in the end i got my wish! I am suffering from third degree burns of sun tanning.. i really look like a lobster now, super red, if only i could just snap this view of myself.

Ok i am for sure tanner..went tanning with prissy dear today..we really tanned man, from like 1 to 4? Hoppin in between the jacuzzi pool and the chair... heng my face not tan else must buy new shade of powder...haha..

resume writing course this morning was really tiring, luckily the lecturer knew how to inject some humour or else...goodness..but nt bad, i learnt many things that poly taught WRONG..my goodness, poly's resume was like...no way near the professional ones taught today, and it was actually considered a module in poly..madness..

went to vodaskin for chemical peel after wit pris, wj and lulu..haha, yea the guys had their try at it too..wah the feeling is shiok man..think i will go once a week to see if there are results due to the recent outbreak and scarring..

A zombie was spotted walking ard town, and that was me..yes, after the peel i had no make up..so me, pris and nuohan walked downtown to cosmetic counters to try the different brands..and yes i found a damn damn zai corrector from bobbi brown..wanna get it, it really covers..but now i wanna try the ysl's touche eclare..looks real good on nuohan, and is cheaper than bobbi..

i am back!! damn, sun tanning plans cancelled due to RAIN...and it was super sunny yesterday. i am really damn suai..it happened the other time as well.. and the people are drilling again...wads wrong with them? Are they so rich to renovate their house every few months?? and they start at 10am sharp and only stop at 7pm..goodness.. how brainless.

Ok and so i have been eating a hell lot but my "list" just doesnt seem to be ending..its like only half or maybe even 1/4 only..

but, i have been wrking out too ok..went to the gym with the boyfriend on monday..super slack, can only do threadmill for 20 mins now..sian..but i lifted weights! To increase metabolism..

and i still haven watched transformers..wanted to on sunday night but the latest at vivo was at 9 plus, and we missed it. shit. i think its ending. i shall watch die hard and vacancy then.

woohoo...watched the NDP rehersal last sat wit the bread and the boyfriend's family..ok its nt that exciting...only the stunts part and my boyfriend marching and standing there was nice, as we were busy playing with the binoculars and camera. Heres wad 3 jokers (Me, bread and kenny) did, to zoom in on my boyfriend, we used the binoculars and we used the boyfriend's camera with 10x zoom to take thru the lens of the binoculars, making it super clear, but keeping it shake free was damn tough, so thats wad got us busy for the first hour. Else its...mmm.. interesting and NOISY!

well, it made me realise that i need a new camera. My camera SUCKS to the core..think its better taking human pictures rather then objects. The boyrfriend and the bread's camera made mine feel so useless..so the pics for the NDP shall be uploaded only next week when i get them from the bread and the boyfriend.

And yes, stiches out, meaning i can now chew with the exception of 3 big holes in my mouth..went to the newly renovated old airport road for supper yesterday..

oh big news....there is a cure for cramps, mom brought back some heating pad from indonesia during her last trip and it wrks..it really kept the cramps minimal, boy its good! It heats up to 53 to 68 degrees and lasts up to 12 hrs..damn zai! but i am nt sure if its sold here, haven seen it ard, and i am left with just 2..damn...tell me if any of you see it ard ok, heres a pic of it, its some okamoto brand.

Kudos to my completed assignment...happiness!

wisdom tooth all out..going for HUGE buffet next week, sure to eat away the GST credits..stepped into the hospital yesterday, ready for my surgery, gosh was told to put on the operation kit..some green cloth with threads to tie followed by another blue layer, a shower cap and some brown uncle slippers...made me felt like i was gng under the knife for some major operation.

Next, got out of the toilet and was welcomed by the an anesthesian. ok i saw the needle or rather the iv and started freaking out. He took my heartbeat with a clip shit on my index finger followed by my bp, and commented that i was nervous as my heart rate was like super fast. Wad nonsense of course anyone would be...then he assured me that the iv was just like a mosquito bite..and so i trusted him and he stucked in in my vein on the top of my left palm..ok i am glad it really wasnt pain, in fact it was not as pain as a normal injection.

Next, i was led to the operating suite, my god that was freaky shit. It really looked like the movies..a bed and a hell load of people..was asked to lie on the surgical bed landing my head into a hole, there was like 5 nurses og gosh...they started putting tubes on me and stickers on my chest for my heart beat..thats it i knew i was gng to get knocked out real soon..

next the anaestician inserted the drip to the needle on my left palm and then i was told to breathe in some oxygen..wow the effect was damn "de ne ne" according to the boyfriend, within 3 puffs i fell into deep sleep and the next thing i heard was them waking me up to say that the surgery was over.. obviously i was drownsy and no idea why i just couldnt move or open my eyes and so i ignored them..then i felt them transferring me to the normal ward..

There again i was in isolation facing a damn blank wall..with wires still ard me and the heart beat sound..i was coughing badly with loads of phlegm stuck..and so the nurse exlained to me why i was feeling that way..accordin to her, the surgeron shuff a tube into my nose to my mouth to take out saliva and phlegm..no wonder i felt shitty man..right nostril was bleeding..

so i rested till i was awake to be discharged only to ding my mummy not there yet, so i had to wait for her to pick me..reached home with gums still bleeding and knocked out..

Woke up this morning to find russell sick..choking on i have no idea wad..so it was his turn to the doctors..

ok i hope i lose some weight during this 1 week and i am only suppose to have soft diet that is cold..so all that i have been eating was yoghurt and ice cream...no hot food...sian..everyone was eating chix rice in front of me just now...i wanna eat anything and everything...

hell its been a long time since i updated i just realised..skipped school today again..hope aly's right bout being about to absent 2 times for this module..

mom will finally be back on thur..yayness..breakfast again..its so funny that when shes here i wish she wasnt and when she's not, i wish she was..now i got to do my laundry and clean the house and starve. but she will be gng away on fri again and back on sun..no breakfast again.

watched fantastic 4 just now..mm..for someone who is not really into comics and etc, i found it rather nice..though jessica alba i have to say does NOT look hot at all in the movie. I tot of her as someone pretty but after the show..nah..or maybe it just doesnt do her justice.go watch it..think its nice..Better then oceans 13. I tot that oceans 13 was a lil boring, so much planning and the real deal wasnt done exactly very nicely. nothing spectacular.

went to AH yesterday for my dental x-ray..was surprised to find out that i was to extract the remaining 3 wisdom tooth..shit..the surgeon said that it would be better as it was all the same price. But he warned of the danger which was 5% chance of nerve disorder on the lower lip area.. He asked if i wanted a local or general anesthesia, Local: when you are awake, General: when you are asleep. So i decided to sleep...less pain, he assured me that it would be much pain when i wake up, but i had to fast 8hrs before and that it would take 6 hrs and i needed someone to send me home..and i gladly chose the date to be 29 June 2007.

Starting to regret now..damn scared..but i have to get it done b4 i start wrk so that was the best date.. scared...nvr been put on drip before...stress..

On a lighter note, i watched...Shrek 3 yesterday, damn funny, it was so darn good that it didnt bother me that i was seating in the second row from the front..nice show...

Havent started on assignment yet, was suppose to be done with it, but no motivation lar.. so you see...haha..

Missing the US already..miss dragging myself up from bed every morning to bath in the super cold aka freezing weather, miss asking this question:"What shall we do today?", miss the jackies, miss freezing, really! haha...had fun shopping on sat with the bread..tot that by the time i went my)hosis all the Small would be gone..but haha..i managed to grab 4 pieces which included the white top i was looking at since like mths back..and its at 50% haha..so happy..

ok i am shock that people actually wanna know bout my boring life w/o the boyfriend..ok i am sounding damn pathetic, as though life stops w/o him..ok so lets put it this way, i didnt exactly have alot of fun since i came back as i am not happening..haha but i think i am leading a fruitful life now..

My human clock has been destroyed! i sleep by 11pm everynight and automatically wake up by 9am, try to sleep longer but i just cant! Damn...

with the influence of the module on wellness and my friends, i am beginning to love my body, i have been exercising or rather wrking out at the gym no not on weights but on the threadmill, bike machine and mat exercises. Believe me, mat exercises sound simple, but i think they are a killer. Yes! Sets of crunches, NO not the normal way, leg raisers, vincent ng's killer wrkout, and some tahan body exercises that have been hurting my abs all week..cant cough thats the extend of it..no i am not exergerrating, its true...

ok heres wad i have been up to..just gyming on mon, wed and fri which means later...

went to JB with parents yesterday for hair coloring and treatment..haha..yes i coloured my hair, i wanted red but the guy said it fades easily, so he chose this ash brown color...BUT....it did nt turn out the way it was suppose to be. And he said that i have to was 3-4 times b4 the colour appears..if nt, go back on sunday and he will redo it..

Thing is. only the fringe area has color, my ponytail is still BLACK!...gosh, shall wash hair later to see if its true, like comon, if the color fades more, my fringe will still be brighter right??duh!

wad a foodie weekend...i just kept eating and eating ever since i came back.. ate like a pig, seriously... ate chix rice for 3 consecutive days...

My gosh the weather in sg is a killer...super hot so much so that when i walk to the station i am dripping like a pig which does not normally happen. Sleep with fan normally but came back sleepin with aircon everynight without fail.. yes thats how hot i think the weather is.

I am like forever hungry ever since i came back and sleepy 24/7.. no idea why..i just wanna keep sleeping..

ok started my healthy lifestyle on sat, or at least the exercise part, the diet part shall start tmr.. went gyming and saw prissy..and went gyming today again with prissy,wj and emu...yes she finally decided to come with us... BUT she still PANGSEI at the end part hor prissy...haha...

we have decided to go gyming every mon and wed...yea, healthy lifestyle. but i will continue my workout every fri and sat as well...really wanna shake off those excess baggage at the thigh area as well as the hip area..

Hi mom, dun wry bout me, i am having fun well at least i think i am...todays trip was really worth the money...took pics with so many cute characters and saw the set of desperate housewives and other movies...damn cool. The studio tour allows you to go thru all their studios and some even has simulation in which you can see and feel wad happens during the movie.

Example: we were taken into a subway, and inside explosions and fire and train crashes happened, damn nice the effects felt real as the fire was hot we could feel it and water gushed into our trams and the tram shooked as it would during a bomb...damn real..

so happy to get out of Green Tortise in San Fran...ok guess i can never adapt to life in a hostel...really sucks...so many pple sharing a common toilet, breakfast was just bagels with peanut butter, dishes washed my yourself, double decker beds, windows that are unable to lock...and fire trucks ringing almost every single min...yes thats wad happened in SFO...maybe cause we lived in broadway, where everything was happening there!

saved alot of money on transport though...we practically walked everywhere...cause we lived in the city, everywhere was within walking distance...or rather wad we tot...we walked super alot and the streets in SFO were made of hills and slopes....damn tiring, super...walked damn alot...

smth dumb happened this morning, you wouldnt guess it, adel was suppose to wake up at 7am but set the alarm to 6am as her phone was still in SG timing and best she didnt realise until she bathed and was rdy for school then she noticed that the time was only 6 plus... sheesh..

went to the mountains yesterday...nice view bt a lil boring, it felt more of a picture taking session rather then a field trip aka study trip. i came back learning nth new in fact this module i felt like i learnt NTH...serious..then after had lunch at Meers...my gosh the burgers are dman big..think you need 2 to finish it and still feel damn bloated..well at least thats what my other friends said..

had mad training under wj and lulu yesterday while waiting for laundry to be done.. jogged 5 rds including warm up...damn tired...

so obviously i have not packed my luggage..wish me luck after school today.. still have last min shopping to be done later..

really busy this week...had my hair cut yesterday..ok wasnt really wad i wanted. phew...no tornado last night..couldnt sleep though..the storm was so bad that lighting seem to have stroke with the ticking of every minute.. sky was red with strong winds that sounded damn loud.. 5 more nights...praying hard..

sorry momsie...forgot that we were suppose to talk last night..anyway, i had my graduation today and it was so boring at the beginning that i feel asleep and my "hat" hit emu's twice...goodness...so i decided to just keep my eyes wide open.

on the card before we went on stage, we would pass a guy a card that read our names and how to pronounce it, and when i saw every one dng it, i started to follow. Let me tell you it was a big mistake,like who in the world cant pronounce adeline?? ok well i tot they couldnt so i wrote " AIR-DE-LIN KUAH and they really read it out slowly like aaaiirrdelin. goodness!

good news is that i didnt fall, haha, not clumsy today...damn tired. gng to cheesecale factory later for grad dinner..yum yum...herad its nice so it better be, if its gng to cost us a bomb.

oh yes mom i signed the HSBC visa, for my necklace, yes i bought the necklace with my name in GOLD...they have it here tiwce the price cheaper than in sg thats why i bought it, its USD 140. collecting it on friday b4 i leave for San Francisco.

sorry sissy and mommy for the lack of update yesterday..was too tired after PE yesterday..ran the 1 mile and 2 sprints...super tired...

went incredible pizza after school yesterday. Yes it was a buffet AGAIN...think i am really gettin fatter, its always buffet buffet buffet or pasta and pizza..i am so sick of it. I really miss the food at home..chix rice, momsie's curry, everything..its only a few days and i really miss home..i really wanna go home.. seriously.

Played go-kart and ate alot at incredible pizza yesterday.. ok the USD 10 was not worth it..realise that the people here are super friendly..really..if you are crossing the road and waiting in the middle, they will stop for you, unlike spore. they will just dash and even if a car stops in sg, the fellow at the back will horn, thinking that an idiot just stopped for a pedestrain.

Went to health club for lab during the second part of the day for lessons and played basketball..oh boy is my body seriously aching all over. Then headed to ASIAN SUPERMARKET where we managed to get all out spore supplies. yumyum..me and emu bought a carton, yes a carton of green tea. haha.. we so miss it. Oh and i did my laundry today..woohoo! next laundry day is sunday.

school started today, ok the arts dept wasnt eactly filled with students like how i expected a normal school to be crowded like..you know those lockers along the hallway, fill with peeps... yeah...that didnt happen here.

Ok, my first module today was Physical Wellness...yes, as the name decribes its PE.

Was falling asleep at the beginning, until they started talking bout nutrition and diet. This course is freaking cool...you learn super many things bout your body, wad you shld eat to get wad kinda figure. Maybe after this course i can be your personnal trainer if any of you need any..haha

Tmr will be running a mile...equivalent to 2.2km? Sian...must exercise..

Wed will be having field trip to some big fittness gym for more exercises..goodness...

Had buffet lunch in the sch cafe for USD 5 only, but the food aint that great, only the pizza was yummy, which explains why they are all so BIG in size..

back from shopping today...my gosh super tiring..

The cab drivers here speed like crazy and the worst part is that you can NEVER flag a cab along the roads as you will never see one. Somehow, you have to book and they will appear, and the booking fee is USD 5...super ex..and you have to tip the driver 15% of the meter..gosh. An another thing, i find it strange how the meter can jump so fast, its like one min its at 3.20 next when you turn back its 6.40..yes that fast...so its better to share cab...its cheaper that way.

Ok the country bumpkin made it to Penn Square today. Yes i sae Victoria Secrets, Gap, Abercrombie and Wetseal and other stuff...shopping here is not that cheap..but the good thing bout sales is that all the small sizes are left as the pple here are quite big in size. Thank God.

Phew i did not exceed my daily limit for spending, i was great man, i managed to control..but we will be heading to the malls tmr again after orientation tmr..

yes finally, after 25 hours, we have arrived in Oklahoma... yes i am still alive and kicking...shocking...well i died in the plane..not of cramps...i died of sinus and too much air pressure and thats why my whole left face became numb and painful...Thanks prissy and wj for consoling me...haha

wad a weekend...dearie's left for taiwan early this morning...sad..missing him already..

have been having diahorrea...went to see the doc on sat morning, hoping to be the first, thinking that all clinics open at 9am, damn it opened at 830am and upon arrival, there were like already 6 people before me..gosh...so i still had to wait..

went medicinal shopping on sat as well at chinatown.

Been doing alot of thinking this week, and i realise that lent is almost over and i have done nth bout it. Good Friday is coming and then Easter and i have not repent.

Need a pedi, haircut and eyebrow threading, oh and meeting with my peeps.

ok and so i woke up like 540am to go for the extraction at NUH..and well...i was nervous for nth as Ivan said that he cant extract, only a surgery can be done because part of my jaw bone needs to be cut off, hence the surgery..ouch! I am so darn scared..so i postponed it till after the US trip as it is a day surgery..

ok one thing i just dun get. Why why are there people in the world who are so strange? If someone wants to send you off naturally they will do it willingly, you dun have to ask. When you ask you pressurize the person and he/she will have no choice but to agree. Whats the point then? ok..just some lil tots.

Have been blog reading and i came across this blog, quite cool..the post previews just 1 pic and you got to click on the link for more pics...so cool...maybe i should change to livejournal, well thats where i saw this cute lil thing. If anyone knows how to do it, tell me ok? I just opened a livejournal account but its kinda chim...hence i am still a blogspot fan FOR THE TIME BEING.

ok, just could not continue with my assignment anymore, so headed to the gym with sissy...

and the result, more cam whoring, lesser fats, more muscles, BUT overall i still cant tell that i slimmed down or maybe i didnt even.

Yes, it still looks as fat as ever.
